Chi-Chi doesn't do fashion modeling.

A very gracious friend gave Chi-Chi a new wardrobe today.

So many of the outfits would look cute on him.

Unfortunately, Chee made it very clear today that he DOES not do fashion modeling.

Over great protest he did try on two of the outfits.  (Technically we were going to try three, but a little pink number didn't fit at all.)

This experience just clarified that Chi-Chi doesn't care to have his legs manipulated to be placed into a jacket. I'm wondering if he had a leg injury in the past. Any future sweaters, jackets, etc. will have to be the kind that fit over his back and can be attached with Velcro - like this green cameo jacket. Even then, we had to try this jacket with one leg in, one leg out.

He did look much warmer outside with a jacket on though :-)
And I think I have a whole new appreciation for the fun that is dressing up a cute dog.

  1. Those coats are just so dog-gone cute! Puppies at our house (small dog if we had one) have a whole new wardrobe thanks to my mom's belated Lhasa Apso. Have some photos from yesterday of Rosie in a pink number :-) Anyway, lucky you and lucky Chi-Chi!

    1. I would love to see Rosie in pink - she certainly looks good in her bomber jacket!

  2. Ha, ha, very funny. Those pictures looks like he is thinking about doing a dirty protest. I hope not, for your sake. I think you should lengthen his name to Cheech, and then get another Chi and call him Chong.

    1. In fact, he arrived with the name Cheech, and there was a larger dog taken from the same high kill shelter and brought up here that was dubbed Chong. I prefer not to think of my little boy in relation to the U.S. drug culture of that era however, so I choose to call him Chi-Chi :-)

He did snarl a little about the jackets but fortunately, that was the worst of it.

    1. Snarling Darling - if only he would wear a little leather jacket with that embroidered on the back! Perfect :-)
